This just in from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development:
“The United Way of Illinois and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations, in collaboration with the Office of Governor JB Pritzker, have established the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund to raise funds from individual, corporate, and foundation donors to be disbursed to nonprofit organizations across the state serving individuals, families, and communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applications for the final round of funding of the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund are now available. If your organization would like to apply for funding as part of the final application process, please download the overview and eligibility requirement documents and the FAQ document for details, and then complete the application here.
Applicants will be required to meet all listed eligibility requirements to be considered for funding. The application will close on July 24, 2020 at 12:00 PM CDT.”
Note that funding (the grant range is from $350,000 to $2,000,000) must be used to assist individuals and families outside of the Cook / Collar Counties.
