IECAM Data Powers Birth to Five Illinois Regional Overviews

Birth to Five Illinois, the state's initiative to create Birth to Five Action and Family Councils based on the Illinois State Board of Education's ROE structure, is using data found on IECAM's website and Regional Reports to create overviews of community characteristics and early childhood education and care services in each of the state's 39 regions.
Birth to Five Illinois, the state's initiative to create action and family councils based on the Illinois State Board of Education's ROE structure, is using data found on the IECAM's online database and Regional Reports to create overviews of community characteristics and early childhood services in each of the state's 39 regions. This data will assist stakeholders in understanding local context and ensuring an equitable and consistent allocation of funding for early chidlhood services across the state.
Engagement webinars for each region are ongoing, and will conclude on April 6 with a Every Child Ready Chicago (ECRC) Birth to Five Action Council kick-off event.
