The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) has announced a rate increase for all child care providers with children enrolled in the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) effective January 1, 2020.

According to Illinois Action for Children, the increase reflects a 5% increase across the board, and a 20% increase for Group Two centers (all counties except Cook, Dekalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Boone, Champaign, Kankakee, Madison, McLean, Monroe, Ogle, Peoria, Rock Island, Sangamon, St.Clair, Tazewell, Winnebago, Woodford, Whiteside, and Will).
