Governor Pritzker signed the FY2022 state budget into law on Thursday, June 17. According to the Office of the Governor’s press release, the budget also directs federal dollars received from the American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) to aid businesses, families, and invest in Illinois communities.
The budget will continue to support the early childhood education block grant at $543.7 million.
