About the data
Number of students who do not have permanent and adequate homes (PFA, K, grades 1, 2, 3). Homeless students may include those who are sharing housing with other individuals because of loss of housing, living in nonhousing locations, substandard housing, living in emergency or transitional shelters, are abandoned at hospitals, or awaiting foster care placement.
