IECAM provides data on the number of child care programs with one or more accreditations for organizations such as NAEYC.

Latest data: FY2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023)
IECAM provides data on the number of licensed child care centers, license-exempt child care centers, and licensed family child care homes with an accreditation for all geographic regions on the IECAM database.
For detailed data on the number of sites with accreditations from individual accrediting agencies by geographic regions, see the spreadsheets below.
Note that data for some regions are not available for earlier years.
- Chicago Community Area for 2011 and earlier.
- ZCTA for 2009 and earlier.
- School districts for 2008 and earlier.
